Fall Training Programs FAQs
What criteria are taken into consideration when placing kids in different groups?
The fall program will offer two levels of training (Red/Orange and Green/Yellow) based on age and ability levels, with specific consideration to growth and developmental stages. Our Head Coach will evaluate the kids in order to best place them into the appropriate group.

What is the EBYT Policy for refunds?
Refund requests will be considered via Refund Request Form if submitted 5 days prior to the start of the program.  EBYT reserves the right to finalize and make all decisions regarding refunds.

What is the EBYT Policy for make ups?
EBYT does not have a make up policy.

What is the EBYT Policy for sick days, doctor's visit, any days missed or cancellations?

EBYT does not offer credits or refunds for these days.  If a child must drop out of a program, due to a medical concern or issue, we require a note from their physician.

What should Kids wear to the Program?
Comfortable athletic wear like t-shirt and shorts/skirts , if weather is chilly then a light jacket and pants and non-marking tennis shoes or athletic/sports shoes. Strictly NO jeans/floaters/open shoes/ formal shoes.

What Should My Child Bring to Class?
We ask that your child carry a Tennis racquet that fits his/her age and size.
Beginner tennis rackets can be bought at Dicks sporting goods or other local stores that carry sports equipment's.
Ages 5-7 need 21 or 23 inches racket  
Ages 8-10 needs 23 or 25 inches racket.
Ages 10+ need 25 or 27 inches (regular size) racket.

We also ask that your child bring sufficient water to each session.

How old should My Child be to register for the Red ball Program?
EBYT requires that the child be born on or after 09/07/2011 and on or before 10/31/2014 to sign up for the Red ball Program.  Essentially kids in the range of 5 years to 8 years, approximately

How old should My Child be to register for the Orange ball Program?

EBYT requires that the child be born on or after 09/07/2009 and on or before 09/08/2011 to sign up for the Orange ball Program.  Essentially kids in the range of 8 years to 10 years, approximately

How old should My Child be to register for the Green ball Program?
EBYT requires that the child be born on or after 09/07/2007 and on or before 09/08/2009 to sign up for the Green ball Program.  Essentially kids in the range of 10 years to 12 years, approximately

How old should My Child be to register for the Yellow ball Program?

EBYT requires that the child be born on or after 09/07/2005 and on or before 09/08/2007 to sign up for the Yellow ball Program.  Essentially kids in the range of 12 years to 14 years, approximately

I do not live in East Brunswick.  Can I sign up for the Spring Training Program?
Programs are open to East Brunswick residents on a first priority basis and to non residents on a secondary basis.  There is an additional $40 charge for non residents.

Annual Membership FAQs
What courts are available for the youth Annual Membership?
EBYT will use two tennis courts at Community Park on Dunham corner Rd .

How long is my membership valid?
Membership taken at any time during the year is valid until the end of the calendar year.

Are there any particular days of the week or time slots that I need to reserve my court?
The membership will allow access to EB tennis courts on specific days and limited hours.
Schedule
Mon and Fri - 4 pm to 6 pm
Sat and Sun - 8.30 am to 10.30 am

Who will ensure a court is available when I get to Community Park?
Township will put up signs on the courts for slots reserved for EBYT Annual members. If the courts are occupied, please make them aware of the posted signs. You can also call the ranger to solve disputes.

How old should My Child be to sign up for the Annual Membership?
EBYT requires that the child be born on or after 4/27/2001 and on or before 10/31/2008 to sign up for the Annual Membership.  Essentially kids in the range of 11 years to 18 years, approximately.
Kids should have UTR 7 or above.
